In this long-running patent and copyright litigation, Warren defended U.K.-based technology startup World Programming against claims that it willfully infringed its much larger competitor’s copyrights and patents. After years of litigation, Warren helped World Programming secure a complete dismissal-with-prejudice ruling on the patent claims and subsequently delivered winning closing arguments in the copyright bench trial that ended a decades-long fight between the competitors. The victory was described as having “great importance to the smallest creators.”
