In 2024, Warren helped Midwest Energy Emissions Corp. (ME2C) secure a $57 million patent infringement verdict against CERT Coal Holdings LLC and affiliated entities in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The jury found that CERT’s coal-refining operations willfully infringed ME2C patents, which cover mercury-capture technology for coal-fired power plants.
