In June 2024, Warren led SVV Technology Innovations Inc. to a significant patent infringement victory against Acer Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Waco Division. The case centered on Acer’s willful infringement of four SVV patents related to LED-backlit display technologies used in Acer’s monitors. A seven-member jury awarded SVV $10.3 million in damages, recognizing the importance of SVV’s optical and lighting innovations developed by SVV’s founder.
